Lauren Mooney

Lauren Mooney is a writer, producer and dramaturg. She joined Kandinsky in 2015. Work with the company includes »Dog Show« (2015), »Still Ill« (2016), »Trap Street« (2018), »Dinomania« (2019) and »There Is A Light That Never Goes Out: Scenes From the Luddite Rebellion« (2019). Beyond the company, she freelances as a dramaturg, working on projects in development at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, Pleasance and the London Academy Of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and as a script editor of audio drama for Big Finish.
She is a graduate of the Royal Court Playwriting course and has written about arts and culture for Exeunt, The Stage and The Guardian. She worked for two years in the literary and producing team at Clean Break Theatre Company, where she co-edited their monologue collection »Rebel Voices« (Methuen, 2019). She is currently the David Higham Scholar on the Creative Writing (Prose) MA at University of East Anglia.
